Set in the rugged beauty of Ensenada, Baja California, the Valle Gravel Challenge delivers an unforgettable gravel racing experience through some of Mexico’s most stunning terrain. With a carefully designed 40 km course that is 90% gravel and 10% asphalt, the route offers both technical fun and scenic immersion. The final route will be announced 15 days before the event, and GPX tracks will be shared on the official website one week prior to race day.
The course takes riders deep into the heart of the Ruta del Vino (Wine Route), offering a spectacular journey filled with panoramic views, lush vineyards, and the authenticity of local culture. Participants will pedal through landscapes that include indigenous communities such as the Kumiai, connecting riders to the roots and traditions of the region.
The event is strictly limited to 70 participants, ensuring a personal, high-quality experience. Hosted at the iconic Wendlandt Tasting Room, the Valle Gravel Challenge is more than just a ride — it’s a celebration of cycling culture, local heritage, and Baja’s vibrant viticulture scene.
Located in the renowned Valle de Guadalupe, one of Latin America’s most important wine regions, this area is famed for its ideal grape-growing climate, scenic vineyard-lined valleys, and over a century of winemaking history. The region produces exceptional wines — including varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tempranillo — and is also home to world-class restaurants that perfectly pair local cuisine with regional wines. With year-round festivals and a strong cultural identity, Valle de Guadalupe blends gastronomy, viticulture, and natural beauty into a one-of-a-kind destination.
Whether you’re pushing for a podium spot or simply soaking in the ride, the Valle Gravel Challenge invites you to test your limits, experience the landscape, and discover the rich soul of Baja through every kilometer.
