Spotted Horse Gravel Ultra

Whether you’re new to ultra distance racing or a seasoned veteran, you’re sure to find the challenge you are looking for at the Spotted Horse Gravel Ultra. Choose from 75, 150, or 200 miles of the some of best hills, small towns, old barns, rickety bridges, and B roads that South Central Iowa has to offer.

Riders should be prepared for anything. Conditions range from buff dirt roads underneath bluebird skies, to peanut butter gravel soaked by a cold, fall rain. No matter the conditions, you will find yourself making friends and memories, and hopefully cross the finish line before time runs out.

Spotted Horse Gravel Ultra is a self-supported adventure, and no crews are allowed on the course. There will be opportunities to resupply at convenience stores – the distances between them will be communicated to all registered participants.

Expect it to be very hilly.
