Antitank Gravel

Antitank Gravel – Antwerp, Belgium

• Date: November 11, 2026
• Location: Antwerp, Belgium
• Distances: 104 km
• Event Type: Self-supported GPS ride

Antitank Gravel is a charity gravel ride held on Armistice Day along the Antitank Canal in the Antwerp region. The event follows a unique format with no fixed start or finish location.

The full GPS route is 104 kilometers, though riders can shorten it by taking the towpath of the Schoten-Dessel canal. The route is not marked, and navigation is by GPS only. The course traces the history of the Antitank Ditch, which was built to protect Antwerp from tanks during World War II, and now connects several nature areas.

Riders can choose their own starting point from several designated locations, including Putte-Kapellen, Gooreind-Wuustwezel, Zoersel, Sint-Job, and Heide-Kalmthout, or join the route anywhere along the course. Participants receive the GPX files by email before the event. While the route can be ridden at any time, on November 11th there will be paid stops for coffee and pancakes to raise money for charity.

This is a fundraising initiative by PlugPlug Gravel for the charity 11.11.11. Participants can make an additional donation when registering. For full details and registration, see the official event website.
