The spirit of bikepacking Switzerland calls with Zuri Escape, a self-supported adventure commencing and concluding in the vibrant city of Zurich. Riders embark on a carefully scouted loop, a journey designed to reveal the hidden beauty within reach of urban life, yet feeling wonderfully remote.

This course unfolds over 400 kilometers, embracing 10,000 meters of elevation change. The terrain is largely gravel bike friendly, with only minor hike-a-bike sections, ensuring a rhythm of pedaling through diverse landscapes. It is an invitation to witness the grandeur of other gravel events in Switzerland through a challenging, yet rewarding, lens.

The route leads through grand landscapes, tranquil forests, and mystical moorlands, past forgotten tunnels and into the quietude of caves. It is a testament to the adventure waiting just beyond the doorstep, a tapestry woven with hidden paths and natural wonders that reveal themselves to the observant and curious.

The adventure culminates at a lively finisher event at the Züri-Escape Basecamp, nestled within Switzerland's largest cycling festival, the CYCLE WEEK. Here, amidst coffee, food, and the warmth of a campfire, stories of the journey are exchanged, and the shared experience settles into memory.
