Bikepacking bags
Bikepacking bags strap directly to the frame, handlebar and seatpost, so you can carry a multi-day load on a gravel bike without a traditional rack. Most riders build a setup from three main bags: a frame bag for heavy items, a handlebar bag for bulky light gear such as a sleeping bag, and a seat pack for clothing.
This page lists every bag we have approved, from small top-tube packs to full panniers, plus dry bags that keep spare clothes and electronics dry inside a larger bag.

What to look for
Heavy items low and central
Tools, food and water are best carried in the frame bag, where the weight affects handling the least.
Check the fit before you buy
Frame bags depend on the size and shape of your frame triangle, and handlebar bags need enough room between the drops and around cables. Compare the retailer's dimensions with your bike.
Volume is not everything
A bigger seat pack can sway on rough ground when it is only half full. Choose the smallest volume that fits the gear you actually carry.
Common questions
Do I need a rack for bikepacking?
No. Frame, handlebar and seat bags attach directly to the bike. Panniers such as a lowrider pair need a compatible rack or fork mounts.
Are waterproof bikepacking bags enough on their own?
Welded, roll-top bags are designed to keep water out, but many riders still pack a sleeping bag or electronics in a separate dry bag as a second layer.
