Ultraïa is a self-supported ultra-distance cycling event taking riders on a 1,400-kilometer crossing from the French Basque Country through Spain, concluding in the south of the country over 6.5 days. The route features approximately 13,000 meters of elevation gain across mixed terrain, consisting primarily of paved roads with 10% to 20% unpaved tracks and paths.

The format combines free navigation with mandatory sections. The route is structured around eight mandatory passage points and two checkpoints. Outside of these required sections, riders plan their own tracks and navigate independently. Live tracking is provided throughout the duration of the event.

Participants can enter as solo riders or in pairs (duo). Entry is priced at €195 for solo participants and €359 for duo teams. Additional event information and registration can be found on the official event website.
