Flatlandes GRVL is a timed gravel ride through the forest of the Landes department in southwestern France, starting and finishing in the village of Tosse. The event offers two route distances: 100 km and 200 km. Both distances set off together at 08:00 from the Salle de Maremne (Allée des Sports, across from the church), beginning with a 2 km neutralised rollout and a brief five-minute briefing before the official start. Riders travel together for the first 9 km before the two courses diverge.

Navigation is completely self-guided via GPX tracks distributed to participants ahead of the event; there is no on-course signage or waymarking. The routes travel along open public roads and shared tracks used by pedestrians, equestrians, and hikers. Organizers note that courses remain generally fast-rolling across varying weather conditions and suggest gravel tire widths between 40 mm and 45 mm.

Support on the 100 km route includes a single aid station at kilometer 55. The 200 km route provides a first aid station at kilometer 93, a dedicated water point at kilometer 135, and a second aid station at kilometer 150 (shared with the 100 km course). The stretch between kilometers 93 and 150 passes through an isolated area with limited road access, sparse mobile phone reception, and no municipal water supply, requiring riders to carry adequate nutrition and fluids. The kilometer 150 station operates off-grid, with organizers supplying a guaranteed 1.5 liters of bottled water per participant.

Entry is capped at 300 participants across both distances. Registration includes the official GPX track, aid station access, timing chip and recorded finish times, post-ride food and drinks (sandwich, coffee, and beverage), participant goodie bag, access to event photos, and finish-line shower and restroom facilities.
