The 6th annual OINK at the Moon is a non-competitive night gravel ride on the rural farm roads of western Loudoun County, Virginia. Organized by the VeloPigs Beer and Bicycle Social Club, the event offers three route options: 63 miles ("The Business"), 46 miles ("Business Casual"), and 30 miles ("Party Pace"). The ride starts near Philomont from a private property and finishes after dark.

The routes are unmarked and will be provided as GPS files upon registration. The road surfaces include both paved sections and gravel that can range from hardpack to deep and loose with potholes. The organizers recommend tires of at least 32mm, with 38mm or wider being ideal. These are self-supported, drop rides, though riders are encouraged to ride with a group. There are no official aid stations, but each route passes convenience stores where riders can purchase supplies.

All participants are expected to have helmets, headlights, and taillights, as the ride begins just before sunset and ends in darkness. Mechanical support is available before the start from Plum Grove Cyclery, and SAG support is provided for riders unable to finish due to mechanical issues. The ride follows a "Mullet Protocol," with faster paces for longer distances and a more relaxed pace for the shortest route.
