The weekend is structured to provide options for everyone. It begins on Friday with a relaxed 15-20km social ride to ease into the event. Saturday presents the longest routes: the adventurous 130km Wild Gravel Path, the 90km Dust & Stones ride across glacial terrain, and the dynamic 60km Rough Roads challenge. Sunday’s rides maintain the spirit of exploration with the 85km Grind & Glide for flow seekers and a gentle 50km option for those newer to the discipline or simply wishing for a more leisurely pace.

The heart of the Gravel Weekender is its base camp, located near the water-side rest area just below Wesenberg Castle. This central hub is where the community gathers after each ride. Instead of dispersing, riders come together to share stories and refuel. The organisers place a strong emphasis on high-quality, locally sourced food, with fresh salads, barbeque, pasta evenings, and variations of breakfast dishes prepared on-site, including vegetarian and vegan options upon request.
