Val d'Orcia Gravel takes place in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of Val d'Orcia, Italy, offering rides on the region's renowned "strade bianche" (white roads). For 2026, the event moves to a new location in Castiglione d’Orcia with all-new routes.

Riders can choose from four different routes designed for gravel bikes, but also suitable for mountain bikes and e-bikes. The options include the 39 km "Frugale," the 73 km "Saporito," and the 118 km "Goloso," which is limited to 300 participants. The longest route, the 220 km "Luculliano," has been transformed into a two-day bikepacking trip for up to 100 participants, embracing a full gravel and travel spirit.

The event provides amenities such as aid stations with regional foods, shower facilities, and bike wash stations. Organizers state a focus on sustainability and minimizing environmental impact. The race kit mixes traditional products from Siena and Tuscany with technical items. Online registration opens January 2, 2026.
