• Date: May 29, 2027
• Location: Salisbury, United Kingdom
• Distances: 600km (or two shorter individual loops)
• Event Type: Ultracycling

Æthelred Ultra X Mason is a gravel ultracycling event centered around the historic kingdom of Wessex. The full route is a 600km figure-of-eight loop that starts near Salisbury and passes through Dorset, Wiltshire, and the New Forest.

The race headquarters is located at the intersection of the two loops, allowing riders to rest and resupply between them. This format also offers the option to ride just one of the two loops, serving as an introduction to ultra-distance cycling or as an early-season training event.

The route is designed to prioritize fast gravel tracks and quiet back roads over more rugged terrain. Entries for the event open on December 1st. For full details, consult the official event website.
