The Pyrenean Rally is a coast-to-coast cycling challenge with two distinct legs. The first part of the route travels from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic over 900 kilometers with 21,000 meters of elevation gain. This section is 50% unpaved, featuring Spanish pistas.
The return journey is a 950-kilometer, fully paved route back to the Mediterranean. This leg involves 22,000 meters of climbing over French cols. A unique feature of the rally is the option for riders to swap tires at a service area at Checkpoint 2, located at the halfway point between the mixed-terrain and paved sections.
Participants must adhere to the "#6 Hours Alliance" rule, which requires them to stop for an average of at least six hours per day. More details can be found on the official event website.
