Pampilhosa Pedal Xperience (PPX) is more than a bike event — it's a bike festival built around adventure, community and the wild landscapes of central Portugal. Over three days, riders can experience gravel, MTB, road cycling and a unique Adventure Ride, together with workshops, inspiring talks, local gastronomy and unforgettable moments under one of Europe's darkest skies. Gravel riders can choose between two routes: 🟡 Gravel 1 – Discovery 45 km | 1,000 m D+ The perfect introduction to the PPX spirit. A scenic gravel route through forest roads, schist villages and spectacular viewpoints, designed for riders who want to explore the territory, embrace nature and enjoy every kilometre. 🔴 Gravel 2 – Expedition 60 km | 1,700 m D+ A true backcountry gravel adventure. Longer climbs, remote mountain roads and endless panoramic views challenge experienced riders to discover the wild heart of the Serra do Açor. More demanding, more remote and even more rewarding. Both routes are fully GPS guided, non-competitive, and include feed stations, mechanical support and the warm hospitality that defines PPX.
