The Marche Trail is a multi-day bikepacking adventure and social ride starting and finishing at the Marche Trail Village in the Abbadia di Fiastra Nature Reserve, Italy. The event is presented as a self-supported challenge, not a race, with no time limits. Riders follow a provided GPS track and must be self-sufficient, as no technical assistance is offered on the routes.

The event features four route options. The three bikepacking routes are the 400 km "Wild" with 7,600 meters of elevation, the 300 km "Classic" with 4,600 meters, and the 187 km "Short" with 2,400 meters. The "Short" route starts a day later on Saturday, October 10. There is also a one-day "OneShot Social Gravel" ride covering 87 km with 1,400 meters of climbing. The routes are described as crossing white roads, historic villages, hills, and coastal sections of the Marche region, with the Wild route reaching into the more remote Sibillini Mountains and Apennines.

The event is structured around a central village and two overnight Base Camps for the bikepacking routes, located in Ascoli Piceno and Porto Potenza Picena. These indoor camps offer heated shelter, hot showers, toilets, device charging, and night security for bikes. Riders sleep in bikepacking style with their own sleeping bags and mats.
