Lost Dot 101 – Santiago de Compostela, Spain
Date: May, 2027 TBC
Location: Santiago de Compostela, Spain to Córdoba, Spain
Distances: 1,200 km
Event Type: Self-supported ultra-endurance bikepacking race
The Lost Dot 101 is an inaugural 1,200 km self-supported race organized specifically for women, non-binary, and trans riders. Starting in Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain and concluding in Córdoba in southern Spain, the event employs a free-route format connecting mandatory parcours and checkpoints across Spain and Portugal.
The journey begins with a start parcours leading out of Santiago de Compostela through the rolling hills of Galicia toward the Sil Canyon. From there, riders navigate their own routes across the border into northern Portugal to reach Control Point 1 in Bragança, near Montesinho Natural Park. The route continues south to Control Point 2 in Linhares, situated on the slopes of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
Re-entering Spain, participants tackle the climb of Pico Villuercas before arriving at Control Point 3 in Guadalupe, located within the Villuercas-Ibores Geopark in Extremadura. The final parcours traverses narrow roads bordering the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park before descending into the historic finish city of Córdoba.
Riders navigate entirely self-supported between designated checkpoints, adhering to the core ethos of Lost Dot races. More details, route collections, and updates are available on the official event website.
