The routes for 2027 are set to mirror those of the previous year, known for their rewarding but tough “Alberta Gravel” character.

The event positions itself as both a race and a ride, giving participants the freedom to define their own day. The weekend’s activities begin before Sunday’s main event. Riders can arrive on Saturday for late registration, package pickup, and the chance to do a reconnaissance ride. The start and finish are located in the community of Leduc, Alberta, conveniently situated near Edmonton International Airport. On race day, the starts are staggered by distance throughout the morning, beginning with the 150 km riders.

As riders complete their respective journeys, they are welcomed back to a finish line celebration that runs from noon until late afternoon. This post-ride gathering is a core part of the experience, featuring food, music, and a chance for the community to connect.
