Belgian Waffle Ride Utah, organized by Monuments of Cycling and presented by BZI, returns for its eighth edition in Cedar City. Held across two days in the high desert, the weekend combines rider check-in, an Unroad Expo featuring cycling brand partners, and multi-distance unroad gravel racing starting and finishing at Main Street Park.

While final routes for the 2027 edition are published closer to race day via the official Race Bijbel, course tiers follow the established BWR distances. Benchmark routes include the full Waffle distance of roughly 106 miles with 5,500 feet of climbing, the Wafer at approximately 65.1 miles with 2,900 feet of elevation gain, and the shorter Wanna at around 31.3 miles with 1,200 feet of elevation. The routes incorporate long open gravel sectors, paved roads, and sustained climbs at altitude.

Rider registration includes an RFID timing chip and race number, a Neversecond musette bag with partner items, marked courses with traffic control at designated points, and on-course mechanical and medical support. Stocked feed stations along the route provide hydration and nutrition products. At Main Street Park, participants have access to pre- and post-ride waffles, coffee, beer, nonalcoholic beverage options, and podium awards across official categories. Further event updates, rules, and entry links are available on the official event website.
