Participants can choose between two distinct experiences. The week-long "Cyprus on a Gravel Bike" adventure is a comprehensive immersion, while the four-day "Taste of Gravel" offers a shorter, more concentrated getaway. Both paths provide a deep connection to the local character, with daily guided rides, cultural activities, and shared meals. The festival atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, centred around a shared passion for cycling and discovery, making it more than just a series of rides, but a complete holiday.

The daily rides trace a network of forgotten routes through the heart of the island. One day might take you north into the Valley of White Rocks, navigating quiet gravel roads and goat paths past the limestone villages of Lefkara and Kato Drys on a 76km loop. Another day explores the rolling terrain around Vasa and Akapnou on a 50km circuit. The varied routes offer a mix of challenges and rewards, with daily distances ranging from around 50km to over 70km, each with significant elevation.

The rhythm of the week balances dedicated time on the bike with opportunities to experience Cypriot life. Evenings are for connection, with dinners at local taverns in places like the Zygi fishing village. The schedule also includes unique off-bike activities, such as a traditional basket weaving workshop and a lesson in Halloumi making. This blend of physical activity and cultural engagement is central to the ethos of this unique gravel festival in Cyprus.

The festival culminates in the Bedrock Gravel Race on the final Saturday. After a week of exploration and shared rides, the race offers a chance to put a competitive edge on the experience. The week builds towards this climax with a race briefing and pasta party the night before. Following the race, a barbecue and beer tasting provide a celebratory atmosphere to close out the riding, followed by an awards ceremony to recognize the day's efforts.
