Triangle of Gravel

    Bikepacking-Bernina-gross

Triangle of Gravel is a four-day gravel bikepacking journey through some of Switzerland’s most breathtaking and contrasting alpine landscapes. Starting and finishing in St. Moritz, the route forms a triangle across the Engadin, Bergell, Valtellina, and Valposchiavo regions—linking high mountain passes, glacial valleys, remote vineyards, and historic alpine villages.

The ride covers approximately 250 km of mixed terrain, with a focus on scenic gravel tracks far from traffic and mass tourism. This is not a race but a guided adventure designed for riders who value connection, flow, and exploration over finish lines.

Each day is thoughtfully structured with time for cultural immersion, local food experiences, and physical recovery. The evenings feature Slow Food-inspired communal dinners, while mornings may begin with yoga sessions or relaxed briefings. Technical support, route guidance, and a short Gravel ABC workshop on gear and riding techniques are all part of the package.

Group size is intentionally small, capped around 14 riders, to ensure a shared experience that feels personal and authentic. Accommodations range from comfortable mountain inns to simple but welcoming lodges—always with a strong local character.

Triangle of Gravel invites riders to slow down, ride deep into the landscape, and reconnect with what brought them to the bike in the first place: freedom, challenge, and wonder.
