TransIchnusa is a gravel bikepacking adventure to discover the most authentic and wild spirit of Sardinia.
The stages will be challenging, both from traveled kilometers / elevation and even more from emotional standpoint.
TransIchnusa is not a race and you’ll not be required to challenge time. Just be prepared to enjoy an unforgettable experience with a small group of participants, your tour guides will be friends with whom to share emotions, efforts and a good glass of wine at the end of the day.
Tour will be an opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views, still unspoiled nature and a food and wine tradition that will tell you something you’re not aware of about Sardinia.
The TransIchnusa is a non-competitive organized cycling tour.
The tour aims to promote the Sardinian territory from a tourist point of view by making known its landscape, cultural and food and wine excellences through the use of the bicycle.
Long story short, tour is all about getting away from the hectic pace of everyday life and being transported into a different dimension. Riding will require a certain amount of effort, but without ever being in a hurry to get to your destination. Because it would be a real shame to lose the pleasure to pick a photo in the woods or simply to get a cold beer sitting in a bar in a small village, chatting with the local elders.
Sardinia is also this, rough and wild in its views but also warm and exciting in its hospitality.
We are sure that this journey will make you able to experience the beauties and flavors that this land is jealously guarding, and will make you return home, with a great desire to return to ride in Sardinia.
