Welcome to Strade Rosa, a gravel race in southern Sweden (about 1,5 hours drive from Malmö). The event takes place at Villands Vånga, Kristianstad, which is known for beautiful sceneries, lots of lakes and hills. The name Strade Rosa refers to the pinkish gravel which is locally produced.
You can choose from two distances:
140 km with 2.100 m climbing
100 km with 1.600 climbing
We don’t have any alps (but the start and finish area is at a slalom slope 🙂 ) but we do have lot’s of hills; short/long/steep/flat.
Grand Fondo but no race or timing.
Maximum 200 participants.
Entry fee SEK 450:- which includes depots with lots of energy and water, and afterwards you can enjoy some pie from a local restaurant along with a barista coffee.
The course is easy to follow by signs.
