For the second event of the Flanders Gravel Series 2023 we are heading to the infamous Koppenberg. The classic… on gravel! Join us at the third edition of Flanders Gravel Koppenberg, 30 June – July 2.
We picked the best ingredients of de Ronde van Vlaanderen and combined them with surprising gravel. The result: three stunning routes. After a long day of gravel grinding there is a unique festival atmosphere at the finish.
We offer routes for gravel riders of every level. You can choose between three routes of 80, 120 and 160 km.
The routes offer a combination of Flemish cobbles, surprising gravel, unpaved roads and some tarmac. It’s the classic on gravel, so you’ll climb hills like the Oude Kwaremont, Koppenberg and Paterberg. The elevation gain will be between 750 and 1750 m, depending on the distance you choose.
We’ll ride in two loops: a morning and afternoon loop and both have a feed station. Halfway you’ll return to the festival area to get spoiled with a nutritious and tasty lunch (veggie too and it’s included). Start is at the Markt in Oudenaarde and the finish and festival area are close to the top of the Koppenberg.
Find out your legs ain’t good on Saturday? No problem. You can choose and change your distance at any time. We will release the GPX files by email a week before the event.
Flanders Gravel Koppenberg is the ultimate gravel event. To add some extra spice we have time registration in selected segments.
Officially it’s not a race, but it will tell you how fast you are tracking on these segments and you can compare your time with the pros. Are you the fastest guy or girl in class?
