Event Description
The Mayo Traka 200K is a one-day gravel epic carved through some of the wildest terrain in Ireland. Starting and finishing in the adventure town of Westport, this loop dives straight into Mayo’s raw backcountry — a place where ancient bog roads, remote valleys, rugged mountains, and Atlantic coastline create one of the most varied gravel landscapes in Europe.
This is a ride built for riders who want big terrain, big scenery, and a route that never lets up. Over 200 km, the course stitches together everything that defines the west of Ireland: exposed moorlands, forest lanes, towering cliffs, empty glens, and the wide, weather-shaped openness of Wild Nephin. It’s a full-body, full-mind experience — long, demanding, and unforgettable.
Every kilometer is GPS-tracked, adding accuracy, safety, and a digital breadcrumb trail of your adventure. The landscape does the rest.
