Rad Dirt Fest

    The Rad Dirt Gravel

The Rad Dirt Fest is a standout gravel cycling event set against the rugged backdrop of Trinidad, Colorado—where the high plains meet the southern Rockies. Designed for gravel riders of all levels, this one-day race offers a mix of endurance, technical terrain, and stunning mountain views, making it a true Colorado gravel experience.

Riders can choose from three route options: the 40-mile Frijole, the 70-mile Anteloop, or the 110-mile Stubborn Delores. Each course blends fast, hard-packed gravel with steep climbs and remote stretches through the Spanish Peaks region, topping out at nearly 9,000 feet in elevation.

More than just a race, The Rad Dirt Fest brings the local cycling community together with live music, regional food vendors, and a post-ride celebration in downtown Trinidad. The event is also a qualifier for the UNBOUND Gravel lottery, with finishers of the 70 and 110-mile distances eligible to earn coins through performance or random draw.

Whether you’re aiming to race hard or soak up the scenery, The Rad Dirt Fest combines serious gravel with small-town Colorado hospitality—making it one of the most anticipated events on the gravel calendar.
