Kershaw Gold Rush is one of the Southeast’s most distinctive gravel races, held on the expansive 2,500-acre Brewer Plantation in Heath Springs, South Carolina. As part of the Southeast Gravel Series, this event marks the launch of the fall racing season, offering riders a bold and challenging return to competition after summer’s end.
The course features a constantly evolving mix of gravel types—smooth stretches, loose rock, sand, and the occasional muddy section. Set along the geologically significant fall line, the race captures the raw character of Southern terrain, keeping riders alert with each change in surface. The final stretch winds through private plantation roads, ending in a steep climb known simply as “The Wall”—a finish that demands grit and strength.
Riders can choose from three courses designed to accommodate a wide range of experience and endurance levels. Whether taking on the 13-mile introductory loop, the 45-mile classic route, or the full 83-mile endurance challenge, participants are guaranteed a ride rich in both scenery and satisfaction.
