Italy Divide

Italy Divide is Europe’s premier unsupported bikepacking race, spanning over 1,250 km from the heart of Rome to the shores of Lake Garda in Torbole. Known for its ambitious route, the event combines ancient Roman roads, gravel tracks, alpine trails, and rolling countryside, delivering a uniquely Italian endurance challenge that attracts riders from around the world.

The course features iconic landmarks such as the Appian Way, Tuscany’s famed white roads (strade bianche), and off-road segments through the Apennines and Dolomites. With over 22,000 meters of climbing and a terrain mix ranging from fast gravel to technical singletrack, Italy Divide tests both physical stamina and self-reliance.

This is a self-supported race—no outside assistance allowed. Riders must navigate, resupply, and sleep on their own terms, all while battling terrain, fatigue, and the elements. Whether you’re chasing a podium finish or seeking a once-in-a-lifetime bikepacking adventure, Italy Divide offers a raw and unforgettable experience through the cultural and geographical soul of Italy.
