Hydra Epic

1800 KM BALTIC UNSUPPORTED BIKEPACKING CHALLENGE

Hydra is a powerful, raw, and unforgettable bikepacking challenge that crosses the entire Baltic region, offering one of Europe’s most immersive endurance cycling experiences. Riders embark from Pensjonat Wigierski in Poland, tracing a self-supported journey through Lithuania, Latvia, and ultimately finishing in Estonia.

This event is more than a test of endurance — it’s an invitation to truly experience the rich cultures, quiet nature, and shifting landscapes of the Baltic States. Whether winding through Poland’s forests, gliding across Lithuania’s open countryside, or navigating the remote gravel roads of Estonia, every kilometer reveals something wild, beautiful, and deeply personal.

Hydra is open to riders of all skill and ambition levels, offering three route distances:

Full Hydra – 1,800 km: The complete, 11-day ultra bikepacking experience across all four countries.

Medium Hydra – 800 km: A serious challenge across a large section of the Baltic region.

Short Hydra – 400 km: A faster-paced taste of Baltic bikepacking for riders with limited time or new to multi-day endurance riding.

This is an unsupported event, meaning no outside help, no crew, no drafted riding. Riders rely on their own navigation, resupply, and route planning skills while embracing the freedom and solitude that only true bikepacking can offer. GPS trackers ensure safety and fairness, and finishers earn the pride of completing one of the most authentic endurance rides in Europe.

Hydra is not a race — it’s a journey through time, terrain, and personal limits. For some, it’s about pushing ultra-distance boundaries. For others, it’s about adventure, reflection, and a deep connection to nature and self.

One route. Three distances. Four countries. Welcome to Hydra.
