The Orbit360 Gravity Festival is where gravel cycling, trail running, and electronic music come together in a long weekend of adventure and community. Held in the forested hills of the Eifel region, it’s an immersive mix of challenging rides, social experiences, and late-night celebrations, all built around the Orbit360 spirit of inclusivity and freedom.
The cycling program is at the heart of the weekend. Riders can choose from gravel and mixed-surface routes designed to showcase the best of the Eifel:
Gravity Circuit: long and short formats (88 km / 46 km), offering fast-flowing gravel, wooded climbs, and open ridgelines.
Social Rides: 30–40 km group outings with a relaxed pace, perfect for connecting with other riders.
Gravity Cat: an adventure-style 40 km route with a playful checkpoint format.
Individual Time Trial: test yourself on a fixed course against the clock.
Technique Sessions & Space Games: a chance to sharpen skills, play on the bike, and push limits in a fun environment.
All routes are designed to be accessible with any type of bike, and a test fleet is available for those eager to try something new. The riding is varied and rewarding: gravel forest roads, farm tracks, short tarmac connectors, and trails that highlight the Eifel’s unique mix of terrain. Whether aiming to go full gas or simply ride at party pace, the weekend offers a challenge for every level of rider.
When the rides finish, the festival keeps rolling. The open-air stage and the legendary Heide Dangerous club come alive each evening with a diverse lineup of DJs, while the daytime program offers yoga sessions, movement workshops, recovery ice baths, cacao ceremonies, and talks with riders and researchers. It’s a chance to balance effort with recovery and inspiration.
Basecamp at Die Strumpffabrik provides the perfect hub: a gathering point for rides, runs, meals, and music. With routes that dive straight into the surrounding countryside, logistics are simple, and the focus stays on riding, connection, and celebration.
