FoCo Fondo is a vibrant celebration of gravel riding, craft beer culture, and community spirit, nestled in the foothills north of Denver in Fort Collins. This one-day festival offers a full spectrum of experience for families, social riders, and elite competitors alike—departing and finishing in the iconic New Belgium Brewing courtyards.
The multi-route format includes a relaxed 12-mile family ride, a scenic 32-mile route, the challenging 60-mile course packed with rollers, a 100-mile adventure, and a rugged 118-mile elite option featuring over 7,400 feet of climbing on the “Triple Dog Dare” route. All longer routes are chip-timed and designed to push riders while celebrating the region’s mixed terrain: gravel, dirt, and occasional pavement.
The weekend kicks off with an optional bike & outdoor expo and fun events like beer and brewery tours and pre-ride shakeout rides. On race day, routes unfold across farmland roads, scenic ridges, ranch landscapes, and the iconic prairie divide climb before looping back to the festival.
Post-race, the festival vibe takes over: live music, food trucks, local brews, awards, giveaways, and the beloved “Hitch-a-Ride” community prizes. A family-friendly zone offers games and activities, while volunteers and inclusive programs ensure the event’s welcoming, equitable environment.
FoCo Fondo combines challenge with celebration—a gravel adventure and block party rolled into one unforgettable ride on Colorado’s scenic northern front range.
