The Aurora Gravel Swiss Weekend is a rally-style gravel cycling experience set in the heart of Neuchâtel and the Jura mountains. Across two days, up to 300 riders will take on fast-rolling gravel, forest trails, and panoramic ridgelines that highlight the beauty and diversity of Swiss landscapes.
The routes start just above the historic medieval city of Neuchâtel, weaving through vineyards, deep forests, and alpine-style pastures before opening to views of lakes and distant peaks. Riders can choose between two formats:
True to rally format, only timed segments count toward the standings, while transfer sections allow riders to regroup, recover, and enjoy the journey. GPS-based navigation adds an element of adventure, encouraging participants to ride with confidence and focus.
Stage 1 concludes with a festival atmosphere at Ferme de Pierre à Bot. Expect live music, food trucks, local beer, and a bustling expo village that welcomes both riders and the local community. It’s more than just a race—it’s a weekend-long celebration of gravel cycling, blending endurance with camaraderie and culture.
The Aurora Gravel Swiss Weekend is designed for riders who want to test themselves on timed stages, discover authentic Swiss landscapes, and immerse in the festive spirit of a true gravel rally.
