Aurora Gravel Cyprus is a five-day rally-style gravel adventure that showcases the island’s unique mix of mountain terrain and Mediterranean coastline. Starting with a short prologue to set the seeding, the event unfolds across four diverse stages, each highlighting a different region of western Cyprus.
The format blends competition with exploration. Only selected “rally” segments are timed, allowing riders to push hard where it counts and then recover, regroup, and enjoy the transfers. The full route covers approximately 400 km and 7,800 meters of climbing, combining forest tracks, ridgeline gravel, coastal paths, and historic backroads.
Logistics are anchored in Tochni and Paphos, where riders gather each evening for food, drinks, and a festival atmosphere. With a maximum of 200 riders, the event balances professional organization with an intimate community feel.
Aurora Gravel Cyprus is more than a race—it’s a spring cycling getaway. Warm weather, challenging segments, and breathtaking landscapes make it one of the most exciting rally-style gravel events in Europe.
